The annual KILSPILLS rally started from the Ace Cafe on 9 September 2006. It finished at the Houses of Parliament and we all double parked on the Embankment. The Weather was glorious throughout. There were about 4000 bikes in the rally and it was escorted by the Police throughout.
To cut through London over red lights and along bus lanes was quite an experience. The rally seems to be achieving something as 2 supermarket chains have fitted spill prevention fillers to their truck fleets. The lesson of the day for me was that going at 5 mph with all lights on for one hour will flatten your battery!
The biking community got me going again. Thanks fellas.
