SAM volunteers set up the MDU at Sammy Miller's Museum Open Day in the company of hundreds of bikes from far and wide. Hopefully the good number of enquiries will lead to membership applications. On one of the few sunny days for some time,

Sammy put on a demonstration of several working classic machines and the museum itself offered a fascinating story and display of motorcycles from 1898 to 1962. There's even a wooden bike, full size, a true work of art.

At 12 noon and out of the sun arrived Gerry Gooch with his flying circus of 30 odd bikes both members and guests on a leisurely ride out.
