Introduction. If you enjoy riding your bike, enjoy meeting other riders, live in the South Hampshire area and would like to improve your riding skills, we could be just the club for you. We are a biking group that is affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists. That may sound a bit `stuffy`, but we assure you that we aren’t. Our club is about 320 strong and we have ride-outs or club events every Sunday, a club night on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and a very successful Training Day on the first Sunday of each Month at the Sarisbury Green Community Centre. We also have continental trips and long weekends away. So you can see that we cater for everyone, whether you’re a sports rider or a tourer, whether you ride a Ducati, a Harley, a Blade or a BMW, you will be welcome. We have a number of lady riders and more are always welcomed as riders or passengers. The focus of the club is on safe riding. We expect every member to improve their riding skills and to become an Advanced Rider. Upon joining the club you will become an `Associate` and will be allocated one of our Qualified Observers who will arrange with you to go out on a one to one basis on what we call an `Observed Ride`. After the ride your Observer will hand you a report and assessment mark covering each aspect of your ride. You will then see exactly what your skill level is and what you need to do to improve. Meanwhile of course you can join in with all the other activities of the club. Our Membership Secretary will be pleased to send you an `Information Pack` or any committee member will always be pleased to help with any enquiries that you might have. So come on, get on your bike and join us, you will find it great fun, for that is what biking is all about. Click here to see the location of the Sarisbury Green Community Centre
