  Mike Smith one of our clubs green badge holders will next year be taking part in the Barry Sheene Memorial Motorcycle Challenge 2010. Mike will be raising funds for CLIC Sargent a charity that helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis and the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards.  The Barry Sheene Memorial Motorcycle Challenge 2010 rides over 1700 miles through Northern Europe in 10 days. From the UK the trip heads to the open coastal roads of Denmark and Sweden before dipping down to Germany, where the riders take in the Sachsenring GP. The route takes in various race circuits including Andertsop, where Barry won some of his most memorable GP’s. Visiting tracks including Anderstop, Lausitz and Djursland Riding on open roads around stunning lakes and down coastal roads Celebrating the end of the challenge at the Sachsenring GP.
